Give Joy: Our Christmas Launch
The final leaves of fall are seeming to drop overnight, and the first of winter’s frost covers the ground. We wake to a shimmering wonderland. As the morning sun warms our paths ahead, there's a new chill in the air and a sense of quiet peacefulness. Silently watching the frost sparkle on cold window panes, a wave of butterflies comes in excited anticipation for all the events of the Christmas season ahead. With that eagerness comes a longing for togetherness and a readiness to give wholeheartedly, extending a hand in help or kind words of hope. With a sense of selfless purpose, this season of giving will be our best one yet!
Our Christmas theme for 2022 is GIVE JOY. This simple tagline has a special, twofold meaning for us. The first meaning is that in a season of icy days, bustling schedules, and easy distractions from what the Christmas season means, Altar'd State wants to be a warm place to return to time and time again, where you'll always find a welcoming smile and a new gift guaranteed to spread joy. We want to be a joy-filled sanctuary for your Christmas needs – where you can get a dress to shine in and a thoughtful gift in one stop.
Secondly, and most importantly, We are committed to GIVING JOY to those in our local and global communities who need a little extra joy this Christmas. Every Mission Monday, 10% of net proceeds in all stores and online sales go directly to local charities across the country. Through this weekly initiative, our guests and Altar’d State family can take an active role in uplifting the children of their communities and give back in meaningful ways. Additionally, as a company we partner with several non-profits that educate train and uplift children of third-world countries to ensure a bright future and promise of a healthier tomorrow. These organizations provide schools and housing, build clean water sources, and teach communities how to lead safer and more sustainable lives for themselves and for future generations.
Our Mission Monday campaign will be focused on nonprofit partners who provide a more joyful Christmas to children and families in need. This could mean offering shelter and warm holiday meals, giving gifts otherwise not afforded, or providing celebratory moments and activities for kids who need a little extra joy in the Christmas season.
